Parts Needed:

P/N 40003-001 27" Shoulder Harness, Inertia Reel w/lap belt OR/

P/N 40002-001 38" Shoulder Harness Inertia Reel and Lap Belt AND/

P/N 40002-003-K Experimental Shoulder Harness Installation Kit (PA-18 Inertia Rear Seat)

Tools Needed:

1   DUCKBILL PLIERS

1   RATCHET WRENCH

1   7/16 INCH SOCKET

1   7/16 COMBINATION WRENCH

A. Slip (2) tubing clamps around the upper rear diagonal fuselage tubes.

B. Insert (2) bolts (P/N AN4-12A) up through the holes closest to the edge in the plate (P/N 104112), (2) washers (P/N AN960-416), tubing clamps, (2) washers (P/N AN960-416), and secure with (2) nuts (P/N AN365-428A). Tighten nuts firmly.  Assure that the rear shoulder harness bracket is installed on the bottom side of the clamps with the nuts on top and tightened.  Submit a 337 for the approval of this installation to your local FSDO
