Description

The Cub Crafters, Inc. Extended Baggage Compartment increases the length of the cargo floor to over six feet. While the extended baggage compartment has a maximum baggage weight of 20 pounds in flight, one could easily roll out a sleeping bag for overnight accommodations.

This installation is approved for the following aircraft built under Type Certificate #1A2: PA-18, PA-18S, PA-18-105 Special, PA-18S-105 Special, PA-18-125 (Army L21-A), PA-18S-125, PA-18-135 (Army L21-B), PA-18-150, PA-18S-150, PA-19S and PA-19 (Army L-18C).

Welding is required to invert the dog leg brace (included with kit). It is recommended to accomplish this kit installation during an airframe rebuild as the modification is designed to be accomplished with the fabric and interior removed from the fuselage. (This kit price includes a $450 value cargo net and (6) cargo tie down rings. Cargo net may be purchased separately for $450)
